Return and Refund Policy
Last Updated: 8/15/2026
At Krunk Hockey, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our custom sticks. However, we also know the reality of the sport: hockey is an aggressive, high-impact game, and sticks are inherently designed to break under extreme stress.
Our return policy is designed to protect players from genuine manufacturing flaws while maintaining fair boundaries regarding in-game damage and abuse.
30-Day Manufacturer Defect Warranty
We offer a 30-day limited warranty from the date of delivery for true manufacturer defects. If your stick breaks within this 30-day window due to an inherent flaw in the carbon fiber layup or construction, we will provide a one-time replacement or refund.
What is Covered:
-
Shaft breakage during standard shooting or passing motions.
-
Blade delamination (unprompted separating of the blade core) that is not the direct result of a skate cut or severe impact.
-
Internal rattling indicating loose composite material upon arrival.
What is NOT Covered
Because hockey is a physical sport, normal wear and tear and situational damage are expected. We do not cover breakage resulting from egregious actions, abuse, or typical game-play impacts.
Your warranty claim will be denied if the damage is the result of:
-
Temper Tantrums & Abuse: Slamming the stick against the boards, goalposts, the ice, or the bench.
-
Slashing: Breakage directly caused by an opponent hacking or slashing your shaft.
-
Skate Damage: Skates stepping on or cutting into the blade or shaft.
-
Prying: Using the blade to pry a puck out of the boards, net, or skates.
-
Modifications: Any damage resulting from heating, bending, or altering the stick after purchase.
How to Submit a Claim
To process a warranty claim, we require specific details to help us track defect patterns and verify the circumstances of the break.
Please email us at Service@KrunkHockey.com within 30 days of receiving your stick and include the following:
1. Your Order Number and full name.
2. Clear Photos: At least three clear photos of the stick, including the breakage point, the entire stick from top to bottom, and the serial number/specs printed on the shaft.
3. The Incident Details: A brief description of how the break occurred. You must include the time and place of the breakage, as best you can (e.g., “Snapped during the 2nd period of my game at [Rink Name] on Friday night.”). The faster we can confirm the event, the faster we can remediate.
Approval and Refunds
Once your claim is submitted, our team will review the photos and incident report. If the break is deemed a manufacturer defect, we will issue a one-time replacement of the exact same custom specs, or provide a full refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. Please understand replacement sticks may not be immediately available due to the custom nature of the stick.
Please note: We reserve the right to request that the broken stick be shipped back to us for physical inspection before a final decision is made.
